Environmental Activities

The farm has used traditional farming methods for three generations, and still continues to do so. This has lead us to being accredited with high level entry scheme status and to become fully organic. The farm has a small close herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle to be able to produce our own organic beef. We are working closely with organisations such as HAMSTERLEY FOREST, AONB, the RSPB, the WILDLIFE TRUST, BEAMISH MUSEUM, Duke of Edinburgh Awards, BTCV, etc.

The farm provides field studies and is preparing a comprehensive educational package for all ages and levels.

The activities available include stone walling, woodland management and species monitoring.

Other species lists are available in the what our farm has to offer
